Kitchen patrol

One of the very best things about working at Google is the food. Seriously, the food. I've eaten foie gras at Google. The freshest sushi. Handmade tortillas. Lobster. The culinary team is amazing, and they turn out delicious, healthy, organic food - different dishes - every single workday.

Today, I was lucky enough to be Google Kirkland's first guest chef. "Chef" is a bit of an exaggeration, but I got to make a kajillion tamales, spend a couple of hours at the service station. I arrived at 7:30, left at around 1:30. Now I think of it, I didn't have any break at all, and I didn't even notice. It was fantastic. (And the team were all very patient with the n00b under their feet.)



Here's today's menu.  I was working on the Action Station: lots of small plates, put together continuously. I'm going to be making tamales this weekend for sure.
